Zenmed review: Very Effective or Merely Expensive?

The Zenmed line has products for the full range of skin care, including acne, rosacea, eczema, and scars from acne, as well as everyday care, cleansers, and moisturizers. They formed in 2000 and adopted the message of effective skincare that is consumer and environmentally friendly. Today, they continue to be on the forefront of skincare formulated by doctors, while practicing their business conscientiously. Zenmed products are Vegan, 100% free of animal testing, and on PETA and Leaping Bunny’s lists of “Approved Sellers.” They are also free of dyes, fragrances, petrochemicals, sodium lauryl, laureth sulfates, and use 100% recyclable packaging.

This is all very commendable and I salute their work for reducing their environmental footprint. But does Zenmed work for skincare? I have researched the company and read many acne cream reviews in order to give you the answer to that question. I will focus on three of their products; the Natural Rosacea Treatment, Acne Scar Treatment Kit, and Derma Cleanse System.

The Rosacea Support Group’s Zenmed review gave their rosacea treatment a 4 out of 5 and included it in their list of best rosacea products. The Zenmed Natural Rosacea Treatment is a three-step system with an Anti-Redness Mask, Support Serum, and Gentle Cleansing Cream. These have a variety of natural ingredients such as willow bark extract, aloe vera, licorice root extract, green tea, cucumber, sunflower oil, and vitamins A, B5, C, D3, and E.

The Rosacea Support Group praised the products in their Zenmed review, saying that they reduced skin irritation caused by rosacea while leaving your skin softer after treating it, and most importantly strengthened the skin. However, they ranked it third on their list because of possible difficulty adjusting to the three part procedure.

There isn’t a support group for sufferers of acne scars, but there are plenty of online acne cream reviews. The average rating for Zenmed’s Acne Scar Treatment Kit is a 65%. The kit is a two-step process with a Renewing Micro Dermabrasion Complex and Skin Eraser. Some notable ingredients are ground walnut shells, extract of chamomile, sea kelp, and vitamins B5, C, and E. Consumers like that it is formulated specifically for scars from acne and agree that it works reasonably well.

The Derma Cleanse System is possibly Zenmend’s highest rated and most popular kit. The kit includes the Gentle Facial Cleansing Gel, Acne Treatment and Prevention, which is the most popular singular item from the line. It also includes a detoxifying nutrition supplement and a gentle cleanser. One possible downside to the kit is that it contains two bottle of the nutritional supplement, which has somewhat questionable effectiveness.

The most common complaint in Zenmed reviews is that Zenmed’s price is higher than products of similar effectiveness. Others compare it to organic groceries, saying that its quality ingredients and environmental friendliness make it worth the higher price. As to the question of does Zenmed work or not, most agree that it works well compared to similar products. Whether or not Zenmed is right for you depends on your own priorities.
